Getting started with Dotsync
Overview
Dotsync helps you register a new domain name and manage DNS, WHOIS privacy, and optional services like SSL and CDN. If you already own a domain and want to move it here, contact our support team — onboarding an existing domain can need extra steps.
Quick steps (simple)
- Search and register a new domain using the Dotsync portal.
- After registration, open the domain dashboard and use these simple actions:
- Turn on Dotsync DNS so we can manage records for you.
- Use the "Add record" button to add where your website or email should go.
- If you want to use email with Clearbox, choose the option to "Verify domain for email" and follow the prompts.
If any step is confusing, our support team can complete the setup for you — just send your domain name and what you want to do.
