Transferring domains in and out of Dotsync

Transfer in​

  1. Unlock the domain at the current registrar.
  2. Obtain EPP/Auth code and initiate transfer in the Dotsync portal.
  3. Approve transfer emails as required.

Transfer out​

  1. Disable registrar lock and get auth code in Dotsync.
  2. Start transfer at destination registrar.

Notes​

  • Transfers typically take 5–7 days depending on TLD and approvals.
  • Domains close to expiry should be renewed before transferring.
