Resetting your password

Overview

Losing access to your cloud dashboard can be a major roadblock. Whether you’ve simply forgotten your credentials or your account has been locked for security, Alfrolia Cloud provides a streamlined, secure process to get you back to your workloads.

1. Self-Service Reset (The Fastest Method)

If you have access to your registered email address, you can restore your access in under two minutes.

  1. Start at Sign-In: Go to the Alfrolia Sign-In Page and click the Forgot password? link.
  2. Submit Your Email: Enter the email address associated with your account.
  3. Retrieve the Link: Check your inbox for a message from Alfrolia.
  4. Create a New Password: Click the secure link in the email, choose a new strong password, and click Save.

[!NOTE] Security Timeout: For your protection, reset links expire after a short window (usually 30 minutes). If you are interrupted and the link no longer works, simply request a fresh one.

2. Administrator-Initiated Resets

If your account is part of a managed team or organization, your internal IT administrator can help.

  • Team Managed Accounts: Your organization's admin can trigger a reset directly from the Alfrolia Admin Console.
  • What Happens Next: Once the admin initiates the reset, you will receive an automated email. Follow the same steps as the self-service method to finalize your new credentials.

4. Security Recommendations

To prevent future lockouts and keep your infrastructure secure, we recommend these three habits:

  • Use a Password Manager: Store your credentials in a tool like 1Password, Bitwarden, or Dashlane to avoid needing to memorize complex strings.
  • Enable 2FA: Once you are back in, go to Manage Account and enable Two-Factor Authentication. This prevents unauthorized access even if your password is stolen.
  • Avoid Reusing Passwords: Never use the same password for Alfrolia that you use for your personal email or social media accounts.
